Worn Shoes, Traveled Road - Artist Book
Worn Shoes, Traveled Road captures the essence of movement, discovery, and the thrill of the journey. This book reflects the wanderlust that pulls us to new places, faces, and worlds. It invites us to explore the unknown, to wander through unfamiliar landscapes, and to find connection in the most unexpected corners of the world.

My books are hand-bound, slowly crafted, and never rushed. They grow organically, accumulating meaning over time through layers and layers of paper, fabric, ink, found photographs, and objects, stitched, marked, glued, ripped, burned, collaged, poked, scribbled, and held in quiet devotion. My materials are sourced from the past, to carry their own stories and imperfections, shaped by time, stains, and decay.
Making one of these books can take weeks, months or even years. Each book is a slow accumulation, a sedimentation of texture and meaning, which makes every page feel like a discovery. These books are alive, embracing raw beauty. They are primal, weathered objects rooted in the common threads of human existence and our connection to nature and time. To “read” these books is to feel them, to uncover their layers, to engage in a dialogue where meaning is never fixed but always unfolding. It takes a lot of care to make a book that looks like it’s been run over by a car, but in that, there’s a story worth telling.
