𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 M𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮 L𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲?

This work explores the idea of a landscape being a creation of the mind. It’s an imaginative collection of memories and objects that make up a surreal horizon where the land meets the sky.

The photographs I used in this work are only landscapes that I collected over time. The flowers were part of bouquets I’d received and pressed in a thick recipe book.

Each flower has been hand stitched with cotton thread to create a pattern that mirrors the floral details of the frame.
