CREMA NERA (the tears, the sighs) is a pocket book made of 12 original round collages and vintage photos inside a tin box.

This work was made in Scotland using old papers that once belonged to my grandfather: discarded envelopes, postcards and political leaflets.

This book contains love and prayers, tears and sighs.

The collages are double sided and attached to a string.

The tin opens with a gorgeous click sound that takes you back to 1950s Italy.
